Amora - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Raleigh, North Carolina

Hello there, I'm Amora, and I'm absolutely thrilled you've stopped by to learn about me! I'm basically the social butterfly of the dog world and love nothing more than being the center of attention. My previous family described me as high energy and full of life, and they weren't kidding! I thrive on people interaction and have an amazing ability to win over anyone I meet, whether they're shy or outgoing. I'm potty trained and crate trained, I know sit and stay, and I'm bell trained for potty breaks. Plus, I'm great with kids of all ages and absolutely love playing tag-style chasing games and tug of war with my furry friends. I do have a few quirky things you should know about me! I get really excited about squirrels on walks (they're my arch nemesis!), and I can be a bit vocal when I want attention or when I hear sirens and train noises, which make me want to hide and howl along. I'm also one of those pups who likes to be the only dog in the home, as I can feel a little protective of my food and prefer my people's undivided love and affection. I pull a bit on the leash when I'm excited, but I'm super easy to redirect with a simple voice command. I'm an absolute dream at the vet, in the car, and with handling, so you'll have no trouble with me there!
I currently weigh ~35lbs & may reach ~40-50lbs when fully grown.
How did I get here? Adopted & returned due to landlord restrictions.
