Meet Precious!
Precious is, to no one's surprise, exactly as her name describes. She is sweet, playful, loving, and loyal to her people. Precious tends to be a low to moderate energy dog and she finds herself content with snoozing the day away with the occasional brisk walk or silly play session to add a little extra zest to her life. Precious's most beloved toy is a large rubber Jolly Ball that she can chew and shake and carry to her heart's delight but she's never too good for a game of tug with her people or a classic squeaky toy. She can keep up with you on just about any walk or adventure you'd like to bring her on and bringing the leash and harness out will get her wiggling with excitement. Another hobby of hers? Snacks, of course. She's the furthest thing from a health nut you could find - hot dogs, whipped cream, and random pieces of day old food she can scavenge off of the street are her favorite dishes but she also won't turn down any low calorie treats like ice chips and snowballs. Precious can be shy when meeting new people but don't worry because her love is easily bought through a short walk and a few treats as bribery.
Precious came in with another dog and is perfectly neutral and non-reactive when seeing or passing other dogs, but she doesn't have extensive experience interacting with new dogs. Precious hasn't met cats before and we would recommend a slow introduction to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals involved. She would do best in a quiet adult only home where she can nap and play and walk with her people all day long.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
