DESCRIPTION
Pongo’s foster family describes him as a perfect puppy. His default position is belly-up; he fully embodies his given title "king of naps," either independently or during a snuggle session. He loves the outdoors, is a confident explorer, and loves to worship the sun. Pongo is great about taking himself out to potty when given the opportunity. He loves his canine foster sisters and does well with redirection. He does like to chew, but makes good choices when he has plenty of chew toy options available. Pongo is a people dog and LOVES making new friends. He sleeps through the night, is independent, and enjoys his safe space (brings all his toys back to bed with him). Overall, he is a great, happy, rolly-polly puppy!
Pongo was transferred to Valley Humane Society on 5/5 from Stockton Animal Services. He had been found stray. He weighs 4.94 pounds.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
