Meet Mort! Mort is only 4 years old and was surrendered to us after he was no longer a match for the household. He is a very sweet, high energy pup who does ask for attention from his people and wants to be with you all the time. He still has some playful energy and could benefit from some extra positive reinforcement training. Mort could go a home with children 6 years or older as long as they are comfortable with a bouncy, high energy pup. He also could live with another dog pending a successful meet and greet. He also previously lived with lots of cats and may be open to a feline friend with the proper introduction. Are you interested in being his second chance?

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
