Meet Cheyenne! Cheyenne is one year old and came to us after being found as a stray by a good samaritan. She is incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, and will happily soak up all the attention you're willing to give her. She enjoys being part of the action, and could live in a home with children ages 13 years or older. She would prefer a home that does not have any feline friends in it. Cheyenne does have some potential confinement anxiety and won't be comfortable in a crate, but she'll thrive with patient, positive reinforcement training and a loving home that lets her feel safe and included. If you're looking for a loyal shadow who just wants to be near her people, Cheyenne is ready to fill that spot in your life!
Cheyenne is a special girl who does have some extra needs. She would need an adopter who will be attentive and allow her to adjust to her new space as she can be very anxious at first, She would also need slow introductions and a very steady and consistent routine, daily walks and exercise, and activities such as snuffle mats, puzzles, and kongs to help her keep her mind busy. She would do best in a calm, quiet, and consistent environment. Cheyenne would need an adopter who is experienced in dogs who have anxiety and are comfortable managing that in the home.
Cheyenne is one of our Extra Loved residents. Although all our resident animals get plenty of love, many of them come from backgrounds where they may need a little extra care, extra attention and extra patience. To help Cheyenne find her adoptive home, a generous donor has sponsored her adoption donation to help her feel extra loved!

All of our animals are altered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines before being made available for adoption.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
