All hail Oberon! This handsome little king may not rule the fairy realm like his namesake from A Midsummer Night's Dream, but he is ready to reign over someone's heart. Unlike Shakespeare's mischievous monarch, this Oberon promises to keep the drama to a minimum-though he may still cast a tiny love spell or two with those puppy-dog eyes!
Oberon arrived at PAWS as part of a surprise quartet, and at just about three months old, he's in a magical stage of puppyhood. Soaking up new experiences, building confidence, and learning how to be a brave and brilliant companion! He would love a forever home with a social, playful resident dog who can show him the ropes, or with an adopter ready to create a thoughtful socialization and training plan fit for a king.
Oberon is also currently being treated for mild skin irritation and scabbing consistent with puppy pyoderma (that is not contagious to other dogs). So he is currently receiving treatment for that, and should be getting his neuter surgery soon.
We also don't know exactly how big Oberon will be, but he's already growing big and strong - and we expect he'll be a large dog once fully grown. So if you're ready for a little "dream" come true in the form of a puppy, Oberon is ready to take the throne in your heart!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
