DESCRIPTION

Meet Metro ACCT-A-265134. Metro was brought to ACCT on 10/17 after she was found as a stray on the streets of Philly. She is about 2 years old. Metro has become very nervous and scared being here at ACCT. But who can really blame here? The shelter can be a loud and scary place. Since Metro has been very nervous and scared, both our medical and behavior team have put her on some meds to help calm her down and make her less nervous in her kennel. Staff have tried Metro out in play group with a few friends, but she is just such a nervous baby that she didn't know what to do with herself. Metro is wishing for a quiet place where she can take her time adjusting to her environment. Think that can be your home?

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
