Ellie is a gentle, sensitive pit mix who recently experienced a sudden and heartbreaking change in her life. After the unexpected passing of her owner, Ellie found herself in an unfamiliar place, trying to understand a world that no longer feels the same. While the transition has been difficult, she is slowly beginning to settle and show glimpses of the loving dog she truly is.

Ellie can be timid in new environments and will need time to feel safe and secure. Once she begins to trust, her affectionate nature starts to shine. She would do best in a calm, patient home with adopters or fosters who understand that emotional adjustment takes time and are willing to let her move at her own pace.
