What we know: Puppies transferred from the Animal Services Center of Mesilla Valley after the finder discovered them wandering near a gas station. Concerned they might be hit by a car, the finder brought them to the shelter but was unable to keep them. Came with the name Max.
From the foster: Hi everyone! I'm Puppy 303, but my foster parents call me Gus (short for Guinness). My brother and I were named Guinness and Jameson by our fosters for Saint Patrick's Day, and I'm the brave one of the duo!
I'm a curious and confident little guy. I already conquered the stairs and I'm usually the first to try just about anything new. My foster parents say my head tilts are ridiculously cute.
I'm still a baby, so I'm working on potty training. I sometimes have accidents, but I'm learning quickly and already prefer using the pee pads in my playpen. I get along well with the resident dog and understand when she wants space. I'm also respectful with the resident cats and new people. I'm curious, but polite!
Kids are a blast to run around with, and my fosters think I'll grow into a loyal and protective companion. I've even started using my "big boy voice" when something seems suspicious! I'm a smart pup who loves treats and toys, so my future family should have lots of fun training me.
If you're looking for a confident, curious, and loyal little sidekick, I am your guy!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
