Chance is a very sweet boy with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give. He’s great on a leash, enjoys his treats, and has been a pleasure to have around. While he can be a bit of an escape artist when crated, he’s been doing much better in his kennel here and has really settled in with time—any lingering separation anxiety has already shown noticeable improvement.
According to his past owner, Chance did well with other dogs and liked cats, though he may be tempted to chase them. Here at the shelter, he’s been dog tested and cat tested and did well, so a home with proper introductions and supervision could be a good fit. He’s child friendly and enjoys being around people.
Chance is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s already making great progress and just needs a little patience and understanding, Chance could be the one you’ve been waiting for
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
