Meet Bodie Bear! This one-year-old Papillon mix weighs in at a perfect 20 lbs. and is fully grown, fully adorable, and fully ready for his very own loving home.

Bodie has the most stunning multicolored coat of soft creams, tans, and dark markings topped off with the fluffiest, curliest, and waggiest tail!

Bodie's story didn't start easy. Found as a stray and unsure of the world around him, he was placed on the euthanasia list simply for being afraid. But with kindness, patience, and gentle hands, he's learning that people can be safe, and love can be real.

Bodie has already done the hard work; now he's ready to settle in and be someone's loyal little sidekick. In his foster home, he has proven what a smart, well-mannered boy he is:

Housetrained
Walks nicely on a leash
Sleeps quietly in his kennel at night
Knows Sit and Kennel commands
Plays well with the small resident dogs after slow introductions
Calm and non-reactive when meeting a cat

Bodie thrives in a peaceful environment with gentle, patient adults. Kindness and consistency help him feel confident so his playful side can shine. Bodie is happiest lounging near his people, going for relaxed walks, and keeping watch over the house like a tiny, fluffy supervisor. He adores both his foster mom and dad, though he does seem to have a softer spot for women.

Bodie Bear would be perfectly content as your one and only, or with a small doggie friend or two. Raised voices and chaos make him nervous, so a house with small kiddos would not be a good fit. This sweet, sensitive boy didn't deserve the ending he almost
got, and now he's ready to find that special family of his own.
