OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Foster insights/story: Shiva has a heart full of love and a bright future ahead of him. He was found in December 2025 and brought to the shelter, thankfully in good health. Since then, he has been patiently waiting for a family to call his own.
Shiva has spent time attending events at local resorts, where he’s had plenty of opportunities to socialize. He does wonderfully with other dogs and is comfortable around both adults and children. His friendly, affectionate nature makes him a joy to be around, and he’s always ready to share tail wags and cuddles.
Sweet, loving, and well-socialized, Shiva is more than ready to leave shelter life behind and start his next chapter in a forever home.
