Vickie's story started on a hot summer day in the Bronx, where she was being offered for sale. Thankfully, she was given a second chance and is now safe in our care, waiting for the family she deserves.
Vickie is a very sweet girl with so much potential. She may need a little extra patience and attention when she first meets someone new, but give her a little time to feel comfortable and you'll quickly see her wonderful personality begin to shine.
Vickie is 99% of the way there. She just needs a patient guardian who is willing to guide her, teach her, build her confidence, and give her the consistency she needs to succeed. With a little extra attention in the beginning, we truly believe she will blossom into an incredible companion.
Sometimes, all a dog needs is someone willing to believe in them and give them the time they need.
Vickie is ready for her next chapter. She just needs someone to give her that chance.
