TIGRA is a 3-month-old, 1`4.6 lb brindle puppy rescued from neglect and abandonment in Puerto Rico. She came to our Sanctuary shortly after her rescue and has been thriving ever since. Tigra is now ready to find her forever home!
Tigra is a playful and rambunctious puppy with a fun, sweet personality. She is currently working hard at our Sanctuary learning the essential puppy skills: leash training, socialization and respectful play basic commands like "sit", and more! She is expected to fly to the NJ tri-state area in mid-March.

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
