Roma's life was turned upside down when her owner could no longer care for her and she was surrendered to NYC ACC. With the shelter already over capacity and limited resources, dogs like Roma are at serious risk through no fault of their own. We couldn't let her story end there.

We stepped in, brought Roma to safety, and promised her something every dog deserves; a real second chance and future filled with love.

Roma is a truly special girl. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and a warm, easygoing personality that makes everyone she meets fall for her. Roma also gets along wonderfully with others, making her a great addition to many types of homes.

Despite the changes and uncertainty she's faced, Roma has remained kind, trusting, and full of love to give. Now all she needs is a family who will cherish her and give her the stability she deserves.



All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
