This sweet girl was found tied to a pole in the Bronx, freezing and extremely ill. Alone, scared, and suspected of having ingested poison, she was fighting for her life when she should have been safe at home. Thankfully, she was given the medical care and love she so desperately needed.

Despite everything she's been through, Penelope's spirit remains gentle and trusting.

Penelope deserves a family who will never leave her behind again, a warm home, soft blankets, and humans who see her for the loving companion she is. After surviving the unimaginable, she's ready for her happy ending.

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
