Goldie is the sweetest girl with the biggest smile and a true talent for cuddling. She loves naps, bedtime, and any moment that involves being close to her people. Goldie firmly believes she's a lap dog and will happily climb right in (all 43 pounds of her) if invited. She's potty trained, walks nicely on leash, and is perfectly content relaxing on her own - but will be ready with immediate snuggles the second you return. If you're looking for a loving, affectionate companion, Goldie is your girl.

My boroughbreaker writes: Goldie is an absolute treasure. She is so precious and lovable, and I feel so grateful that we got paired to be buddies for the day. She is cool, calm, and collected.Goldie is really such a sweetheart, she was affectionate toward us when we showed affection toward her, but she also was fine doing her own thing. She is the perfect snuggle buddy, and she loved back scratches and gentle pets. She also slept for a really long time, and she is the most adorable sleeper. It was really so heart warming to watch her snuggle up on the blanket and take a good rest. I wish it was warmer out so that we could do more exploring outside, because she was really wonderful on the leash and very intuitive. She is a great walking buddy, she is aware of her surroundings and stayed in my rhythm of walking. Goldie passed a few dogs, and while she is curious about them and tries to go say hi, we kept our distance today. But strangers loved her, and she was so friendly and warm to everyone we came in contact with. This was just the most amazing day and most incredible experience, and I am so so glad to have shared it with Goldie. To anyone looking for a forever best friend, Goldie is your gal. I have no doubt that her gentle and pure energy, along with her curious and joyful nature, will truly light up someone's life.

She walked calmly right at my side and, even when we passed a few dogs, she responded beautifully to gentle redirection and kept moving forward with ease. She was so happy to be out of the shelter, especially in the car, and soaked up every moment of freedom.
At one point, a dog even barked at her and Goldie didn't react at all. She looked over but did not engage with the dog. Truly unbothered queen behavior. I wish I could fully put into words just how loving, sweet, and genuinely appreciative she is-she has the softest soul and the kindest heart.
Goldie enjoyed a well-earned pup cup, a cozy nap, and even took some treats back with her. She is the best girl, and if this sounds like what you're looking for, PLEASE consider adopting or fostering Goldie. She deserves a home as wonderful as she is.
