Meet Worm — our wiggly, 65-pound absolute hunk of love from the Spring Class!
This goofy guy loves to play, but don’t expect a serious game of fetch… Worm gets very easily distracted and will usually ditch the toy halfway through to run back for pets instead. Priorities, right?
Worm truly loves everyone he meets and happily wiggles his way over to solicit affection from every new friend. Underneath all that goofiness is a gentle giant with a huge heart. He was sadly found abandoned and tied to a pole, but you’d never know it from his sweet, loving personality. Worm is ready to leave the past behind and make a very lucky family incredibly happy.
Right now, Worm is working hard in our 10-week prison training program at GWH Correctional Facility, where he’s learning all the skills he needs to be the best companion possible. He’s already accepting adoption applications and can’t wait to meet his future family!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
