QATIE

Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Milton, Delaware
March 3rd
female, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

Dog Name: Qatie

Breed: Mixed

Sex: Female

Age: 10/11 months

Weight: 23lbs.

Medical Needs: Spay surgery is scheduled for 3/25/26 at the Georgetown SPCA and is covered by Grass Roots Rescue. Keeping this appointment is a condition of adoption, and foster to adopt family must live within 1 hour of Georgetown to ensure she can be legally brought back for her appointment.

Housebroken: as long as she is let out frequently when loose in the house she does great. She can go 6 hours in the crate with no accidents.

Crate trained: Yes, but will bark at first once you leave her. If she does see you she settles down quickly.

Good in the car: yes but she has only been crated in the car.

Good on a leash: She's getting better. Still pulls sometimes, but very easy to control.

Energy level: she definitely still is a puppy, but she also settles down and loves to snuggle.

Need a fenced in yard: no but she is used to it.

Dog Friendly: Yes, very

If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No, as long as she has her people she is fine.

Cat friendly? Currently not fostered with cats but when we bring her to the vets they have cats there and she loves them.

Kid Friendly: Yes, she loves everyone

If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? I'd say no younger than 6 as she does still get spooked with noises but she recovers very quickly

Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Qatie is such a little sweetheart. She has the most wiggly butt when you approach her. Loves to give kisses and be in anyone's lap. She is the perfect size not to big not too small. She will make a great addition to anyone's family.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
