Zora has been with us for 4 weeks and has become a shining star! She's grows more social everyday. Zora attaches quickly. She loves her people, so much so thinks EVERY person is hers!! She enjoys laying on HER patio watching and greeting everyone going by. Her soulful eyes make her hard to ignore so she gets all the attention she deserves. She is interacting with other dogs some but has not yet engaged enough to play. The skin on her neck, chest and feet are healing up nicely although atopic dermatitis may require long term management. We know her perfect family will see past her allergies.
She is a gatherer, she takes everything she can find in terms of clothing and shoes to one of her many spots. She moves them often, probably to keep foster mom laughing. It's possible she is entertained watching foster mom looking for her shoes. She can curl up and fit herself in the smallest of spaces. Zora walks reasonably on a leash and with purpose. She shows a fear of abondment. She's difficult to get into the car, enjoys the ride but can't wait to get home. Zora has not been around children or cats.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
