3/19/26: very sweet and playful. played well with male puppy in the play yard. Took corrections well and took turns being the "big dog" during play. Loves treats although does not walk well on a leash...she's trying.
3/20/26: Very sweet little dog/puppy? It's hard for me to tell, but she is VERY lovable! I was in the adjacent play yard picking up toys and she came to stand by the fence staring. I walked along the fence and she eagerly followed with her tail high and loosely wagging. I fed her treats through the chain link fence before going into the play yard with her. Once in the yard, she ran over to me wanting to play. I did pet her all over, she'd put my fingers in her mouth and gently play. I had so much fun with her that I forgot I had my own dog outside! Hahaha.
Thelma loves tennis balls, will let you place the tennis ball in her mouth then she "thrashes" it around while leaping all over. It's hilarious!!
I tried to leave, but she wanted more attention.
I picked her up and she immediately went limp with her mouth opened until I put her back down on the ground and she's full of energy again.
I did this several times because it is so funny!
Thelma did allow me to turn her on her back and rub her belly. She went to sleep!! Hahaha. I told her I couldn't stay outside petting her all day, though I couldn't leave. She has a way of staring at you to get you to play with her or cuddle.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
