This is Roxy (#MASA13623). She has been very timid and shy in her kennel, but as you can see as proof in these photos, she really blossoms once she gets out for some one-on-one time with some loving humans.
Here is what one of our staff members noted about her after spending a little time with her:
"I went to the yard with her and the volunteer, and I can confirm she's super sweet! It took like 30 seconds for her to warm up to me, and after that all she wanted was to be pet and get some belly rubs. I can see her being a bit of a velcro dog that just wants to be with her person."
Come see Roxy blossom for yourself! Come meet her any day of the week between 12 and 4 pm at MAS!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
