Barbie is now in a foster home, and her foster parents say this:

"Barbie is an adorable and loving dog who lights up a room! She is reserved and unsure at first, but she's super energetic and happy once she opens up. She would thrive in a home where she can get good socialization and love. Though she is hesitant to be left alone, with a small amount of coaching, a routine, and affection, Barbie would make the perfect pet! She is a sweetheart. Please note I would've loved to keep her for myself, but my teaching job and living alone could have been a better environment for her. All she wants is to be loved, and she is easy to fall in love with!"

Barbie's day out with one of our staff members was an unforgettable experience. At first, she might have seemed quiet and shy in her kennel, but there was an undeniable spark of interest in her eyes. Taking treats gently from her newfound friend, her low wagging tail showed a glimmer of trust starting to blossom.

Although a bit nervous around the leash, Barbie's curiosity about the outside world couldn't be contained. With some gentle coaxing and a whole lot of patience, she bravely ventured into the yard where her true personality truly shined! Happy and curious, she relished being in the company of caring humans, soaking up all the love and attention she could get.

Barbie is estimated to be 2 years old, weighs 45 pounds, and is heartworm NEGATIVE!
