Merida is a beautiful girl who will be turning 3 this year, and she’s ready to find a loving home where she can continue to blossom. Recently spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations, Merida is healthy and well cared for.

Rescued from a puppy mill at just 12 weeks old, Merida has come a long way. Because of her early start, she can be a little nervous at times and appreciates having her own safe space—her favorite being a cozy spot under her human’s bed. She’s a gentle soul who thrives with patience, understanding, and love.

Merida gets along well with other dogs and cats, and while she does fine with kids, she may quietly excuse herself if she feels unsure. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body—she simply prefers to observe from a comfortable distance.

One of Merida’s absolute favorite things is belly rubs! Once she trusts you, she melts into your touch and shows her sweet, affectionate side.

Merida would do best in a calm, loving home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, gentle companion with a heart full of love.
