Pretzel - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Madison, Wisconsin

Pretzel will need adopters who are familiar with a dog who needs time to adjust to a new home. I think he would do best in a quieter home and possibly another gentle mellow dog. He is very quiet and could be in a quiet apartment.
He has some personality coming out on his third day to show. He trusted me and rolled on his back in the grass for a belly rub with a smile on his face! He had a twinkle in his eye today! I'm wondering if there is a sense of humor that will arrive soon!
He is good when you carry him and I'm guessing he might be a dog who would go in a front pack. Time will tell.
Initially, he was a little scared and would growl and have a nip snap with his mouth. He was very stressed. Pretzel does not seem to be aggressive at all now that he is beginning to settle. He seems like a gentle soul who needs to experience trust and comfort at his own pace. This little darling is a sweetheart when you give him time.

Our adult dog adoption fee is $375. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $450. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $275. Our adoption fee for bonded adult dogs is $550.
