Monty - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Madison, Wisconsin

Hello! Meet Monty! Monty is a 1-year-old pup who came up from Alabama. He's around 30 pounds of adorable friendliness--good with other dogs and loves all people, and has so far ignored the cats in his foster home. He does pretty well on a leash--pulls a little, and is still learning to walk without zigzagging, but he's eager to learn--and has not had any accidents in his foster home. He also does well in a crate. He really loves playing with other dogs and plays hard with his foster dog brothers before settling in his crate for some relaxation. Favorite things: humans, other dogs, tug toys, and treats. He is very excited about all humans and is still learning not to jump, but he's food-motivated so he should be easy to train. Monty would love a home with a playful dog brother, but he would also be good as an only dog if there is lots of playtime with his humans (or he has dog friends to play with). Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)

Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $375. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $450. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $275. Our adoption fee for bonded adult dogs is $550.
