Meet Socks, a sweet pup who found himself in a high-kill shelter in Alabama with an uncertain future. Thankfully, a kind foster family stepped in to give him a safe place to stay until a spot opened up at Big Dog Ranch Rescue. During his time in foster care, Socks was around dogs of all sizes and even cats - and he got along great with everyone!
Since arriving at the Ranch, Socks has made lots of new friends, both two- and four-legged. He loves spending time with his buddies, enjoying walks, playtime, and all the love he can get from the staff and volunteers.
But as happy as he is here, Socks still dreams of something more - a forever home to call his own. He's ready to give his heart to a family who will love him as much as he'll love them. Could that be you?
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
