Daisy Doolittle - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Lansing, Michigan

Meet Daisy Doolittle! This one-year-old girl is a social, bouncy bundle of energy who's ready to find her forever home. Daisy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines.

Daisy loves spending time with people, showing off her wiggly personality, and zooming around with excitement. She enjoys treats and plush toys, and she seems to know "sit" and "down," though she's still practicing holding those positions. Daisy is an enthusiastic greeter who often jumps up with all four paws off the ground, so she'll benefit from training to help her learn calmer greetings. Because of her energy and exuberance, we recommend a home with older children and ask that all family members meet her before adoption.

Daisy has met a few dogs and may need some help learning polite introductions. She was unsure around some energetic greeters but became loose and playful with a more polite dog, enjoying running and being chased. She may simply need time and guidance to build confidence around other dogs. Slow introductions, careful supervision, and a plan to separate the dogs when needed will be important.

With her playful spirit, treat-loving ways, and plenty of enthusiasm for life, Daisy Doolittle is ready to find someone who will help her channel all that energy into becoming a wonderful companion! Please come out and visit Daisy Doolittle here at the shelter or reach out for more information.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
