DESCRIPTION
Meet Boogie! He is a 5-year-old handsome large-sized boy, weighing around 70 pounds, who's ready to find a loving home to call his own. He came to us when his previous owners were moving and couldn't take him along, and he's been patiently waiting since 4/30/2026 for his chance at a fresh start.
Boogie has been the sweetest boy here at the shelter and has quickly won over hearts with his loving personality. He absolutely loves toys and enjoys playtime, making him a fun and engaging companion.
Boogie could do well in a home with children of all ages, and we recommend that all family members come in to meet him prior to adoption to ensure a good fit. He has done well when meeting other dogs here at the shelter, though he can get very excited and enthusiastic during introductions.
Boogie is a very sweet and affectionate boy who is ready to bring joy and love to his future family. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you're interested in meeting Boogie or learning more, please reach out to an adoption counselor by phone at (517) 626-6060 or email at adoptions@adoptlansing.org.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
