Romeo is a 6-month-old hound mix with a big heart, a charming personality, and a love for people that is impossible to resist. While we haven’t quite narrowed down exactly what type of hound he is, one thing is very clear — Romeo is a true sweetheart who is ready to find his forever family.

Romeo is fully potty trained and is also kennel trained and leash trained, making him an easy addition to a home looking for a young dog with a great foundation. He is well socialized and does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, which makes him a great fit for many different family situations.

Personality-wise, Romeo lives up to his name. He loves greeting his people at the door and is always ready with hugs, affection, and plenty of kisses. He has a playful and loving nature, and he enjoys being close to his humans as much as possible. After he gets his affection in, he often likes to retreat to the comfort of his kennel where he can relax and observe the world around him — his own little “balcony” to watch the household.

Romeo is also a big fan of toys and loves to play, especially when it involves stuffed toys. He is smart, affectionate, and has the kind of loyal personality that makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for a dog who will truly bond with them.
