Meet Shayna

Shayna is an 11-year-old, 46-lb mixed breed sweetheart who is already showing us just how special senior dogs truly are. She's potty trained, calm, and easygoing - the kind of dog who quietly fits into your life and makes everything feel softer.

So far, Shayna has been wonderful on car rides, friendly with other dogs, and very content lounging on her dog bed (or snuggling up with her foster at night). She hasn't barked much, except to gently let you know when she can't find you, a little reminder that she just likes to know where her people are.

She's unfazed by birds in cages and seems to take new environments in stride. As she continues to settle in, we'll be sharing more about her personality, but right now she's proving to be a calm, loving companion.
