DESCRIPTION
Todd was originally adopted from ACPS after spending 8 months here and we thought he’d found his forever—but unfortunately he landed back with us several months ago when his owner no longer had time for him. Sadly, black dogs tend to be overlooked in shelters, and that’s a shame because Todd is a very deserving boy who just needs a stable, quiet adult home where he can be loved for the rest of his life. He is gentle and calm, seems housebroken, walks well on a leash, and knows “sit” and “paw”. He’s not a fan of cats, but with slow, carefully managed introductions another respectful dog of his own size might work fine. Todd needs a hero—could it be you?
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
