We love this gentle Golden Girl so much and we hope someone with a heart for senior dogs will see her. Someone who doesn’t care about her failing eyesight and hearing and wants to give this joyful, still-playful soul her best final years ever, because it’s obvious people have let her down. She apparently had been roaming a neighborhood for a while when someone finally took her in temporarily until we could take her. At their home Susu was just fine with kids and cats, walked well on a leash, and was housebroken and very well-behaved in the house. Her current foster reports that with slow introductions, Susu does well with other respectful canines as well. This gem of a dog still enjoys stuffy toys, likes to chase after balls the best she can, loves hot dogs, and will sleep in bed with you if you invite her. Please consider sweet Susu and give her a final soft, safe space to call home.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
