Meet Henry! Henry is approximately 3 years old, 30 lbs currently and he is a smaller mixed breed pup. Henry was a stray who was found with an old eye injury and was heartworm positive. He has since had an enucleation and completed heartworm treatment so is now ready for his forever home!
In his foster home, he is doing great with his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could join households with dog-savvy kids 10+ and other dogs.
His foster says, "Henry is one of the happiest dogs if not the happiest I have ever met! That tail is always wagging and he is always so happy to see you. Henry loves to play with other dogs and if they don't want to play, he makes up his own
games and plays by himself. But he usually has a pup or two to play with. He is in his glory outside but he can also chill out with the best of them. You would never know this guy has lost an eye or had a rough start to life. He is very sweet and we are going to miss him terribly. He is very treat motivated. He will make a wonderful family pet or adventure buddy."
He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on April 24. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
