PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.
Meet Callie! Callie is approximately 1 year old and 33 lbs currently and she is a Mutt! She was found as a stray. In her foster home, she is potty trained, crate trained and working on her leash walking skills. She could join households with other dogs, dog-savvy cats (might chase) and kids 10+.
Her foster says, "Callie is a fun little dog! She loves to play but also relax inside! She’s the perfect size in my opinion - not too small and not too big! She’s got the crate/potty training down perfectly so she’s just ready to learn the fun things and be someone’s buddy!"
She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in March. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
