It is often difficult to understand how senior dogs, despite years of loyalty, can find themselves abandoned in empty lots or left behind at vacant houses. These animals are often left confused and heartbroken during the stage of life when they need us most. This is the reality for Pebbles, a nine-year-old, 12 pound boy currently at our rescue.
Pebbles has slightly cloudy eyes and a distinctive "hop" in his step, but he remains incredibly happy and resilient. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and finds great joy in simply following his companions around. While he is currently safe and loved here at Compassion Animal Rescue (CARE), Pebbles deserves a permanent home where he can experience consistency and the comfort of a dedicated family during his senior years.
We are looking for a special adopter who can provide Pebbles with the stable, loving environment he deserves. If you or someone you know might be interested in giving this sweet senior dog a forever home, please reach out.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
