Meet Derek Shepard!

Derek is a laid-back, easygoing pup who has truly mastered the art of relaxation. Whether he's soaking up the sunshine or curled up in your arms, this "lazy bones" knows how to enjoy the good life. He may need a little encouragement to get moving, but once he's up, his playful side shines!

Derek loves to play-especially fetch... with a twist! He'll happily chase the ball, but his favorite part is making it a game of "catch me if you can." And once he's had his fun? It's straight back to nap mode.

Derek's Highlights:
Professional sunbather and cuddle expert
Prefers relaxing but will play with encouragement
Loves fetch (with a silly, playful twist!)
Enjoys being chased during playtime
Big fan of naps after play
Great with everyone-kids, cats, and dogs
Doing well with crate and potty manners

If you're looking for a chill, affectionate pup with a playful streak and a love for lounging, Derek is your guy

I'm a cute puppy still working on housetraining and crate training. I like to chew on everything, play, eat, and then sleep!

As a puppy, I am required to go to training within 90 days of my adoption with a certified trainer.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
