Civarelli is a beautiful medium-sized mixed breed young adult with a heart as lovely as her coat. This social butterfly absolutely adores people and greets the world with a friendly, joyful spirit. She's the kind of dog who will happily trot around the yard in the cutest little prance, then zoom in excited circles to burn off her energy before coming inside to settle into full couch-potato mode.
Civarelli has a wonderful moderate energy level. She truly enjoys her daily walks and would thrive with someone committed to walking her twice a day and/or giving her space to run in a fenced yard. On leash, she may pull slightly at first, but she improves quickly-especially with a harness. With a little consistency, she's well on her way to being a very polished walking companion.
Inside the home, Civarelli is calm, affectionate, and happiest when she's laying next to her person while you relax and watch TV. She sleeps peacefully in her giant crate in the living room and is both potty trained and crate trained. She is hardly a barker and generally has lovely house manners. She does need continued guidance not to jump up when greeting people-but she does it gently and out of pure excitement to say hello!
Civarelli has shown curiosity toward a resident cat, approaching politely and backing away when the cat hisses or snarls. She has not displayed any aggression. With proper introductions and supervision, she may be able to coexist with a confident, dog-savvy cat.
Her gorgeous coat will need regular brushing, which she will happily accept from someone willing to pamper her. She would love a home with:
