Meet Hope!

Hope is a young black-and-white beauty with the sweetest soul and the biggest paws — which means she still has some growing to do! Currently weighing about 17 lbs, this precious girl is equal parts playful puppy and professional cuddle bug.

Hope absolutely loves to be held. If you scoop her up, she melts right into you, happy to snuggle for as long as you’ll let her. She'll even fall asleep in your arms! She’s incredibly affectionate and thrives on closeness, always ready to give soft puppy kisses and soak up all the love.

She’s also wonderfully social. Hope is great with kids, other dogs, and even cats, making her an easy addition to so many types of homes. She plays beautifully, has a gentle nature, and brings a calm sweetness wherever she goes.

Hope and her sister look almost identical — both stunning girls — but you can tell Hope apart by the adorable little freckles sprinkled across her nose.

With her big paws, freckled nose, and even bigger heart, Hope is ready to grow up surrounded by love. She’s the kind of puppy who will happily follow you from room to room, curl up in your lap at the end of the day, and remind you daily what unconditional love feels like.

STEPS TO ADOPT:

Read the adoptable’s bio below, including their adoption fee

Go to RARErescue.org and Read our ADOPTION PROCESS page under the "Adopt" section

Complete the  DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM (located on our website RARErescue.org)

We understand that it is important to you to find the right fit for your family. We feel the same way! The DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM is important and REQUIRED for this reason.

All of our Adoptables are:

Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption

BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.

Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care.  As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.

***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
