DESCRIPTION

Meet Rocky Balboa!
Rocky Balboa is a sensitive, loyal pup who just needs a little time to feel safe—and once he does, his affectionate personality really shines. When he first arrived, Rocky Balboa was fearful and unsure, but with patience and kindness, he has blossomed into a friendly dog who seeks out attention from people he trusts. He loves being close to his humans and will happily lean his whole body into you for pets, nudging your hands for more affection. Rocky Balboa may be a bit sensitive around his face and ears, so gentle handling in those areas is best. Rocky Balboa enjoys getting outside and exploring. On leash, he can get a bit enthusiastic—zigzagging and pulling at times as he follows all the exciting smells—but he’s manageable and settles back in nicely. Playtime is a highlight for Rocky Balboa! He loves chasing plush toys and proudly carrying them around. He already knows several commands like "sit," "paw," and "down," and he enjoys trading toys or treats, making him a fun and interactive companion. During mealtimes, Rocky Balboa prefers his space. He has shown some food guarding behavior, so he’ll do best in a home where he can eat without interruptions and where his boundaries are respected. Rocky Balboa has shown interest in other dogs and has previously lived successfully with a female dog. With slow, proper introductions, he may enjoy having a canine companion again. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will reward your patience with affection and loyalty, Rocky Balboa might just be your perfect match.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
