DESCRIPTION

Oreo’s story begins quietly, a gentle girl who arrived at the shelter not quite sure what to expect. At first she watched new people with thoughtful eyes, choosing to approach in her own time. But once she did, her whole body softened—her tail gave a hopeful wag, she leaned in with trust, and the world seemed a little brighter. She walks with interest, sometimes with a bit too much enthusiasm, but she returns to her kennel with ease and welcomes soft pets and calm voices. The toys didn’t catch her attention, but new scents and sounds enchanted her far more.
She shone brightest when she met another dog—a calm, similarly sized female. Oreo approached with a loose body and soft wag, and soon she was play bowing and pawing, inviting friendship with an openness she saves for special moments. She’s a dog who blooms with patience, kindness, and gentle guidance. With someone willing to go slow, work on her leash skills, and possibly a dog brother or sister. Oreo is ready to turn the page and begin her next chapter in a loving home. Come meet this sweetheart today!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
