DESCRIPTION

Meet Jensen – The Gentle, Playful Pup!
Jensen has been an absolute sweetheart during his time at the shelter and has settled in beautifully. This handsome guy loves to show off his manners—he’ll offer a polite "sit," especially if you have treats! Jensen enjoys scratches more than pets right now, he’s happy to soak up attention from his favorite people. Playtime? Jensen is all in! He loves every toy you give him, plays gently, and is great at trading toys—no fuss at all. He’s easy to engage and just as easy to disengage, making him a joy to play with. At mealtime, Jensen did wonderfully during his food test. He ate well, allowed us to touch his bowl, and showed no issues—though we always recommend giving dogs space during meals. When it comes to other dogs, Jensen seems to prefer doing his own thing. He met two helper dogs and remained calm but mostly avoided interaction, choosing to sniff around instead. He may not be looking for a canine best friend right now, so if you have a dog at home, we recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone gets along. Jensen is ready to find a loving home where he can relax, play, and enjoy life with his favorite humans. Could he be your perfect match? Come meet Jensen and see for yourself!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
