Buford is a solid, friendly dog with a calmer overall vibe and a real soft spot for people. He's affectionate, easy to handle, and happy to soak up attention from just about anyone. He's even done well walking through the lobby around kids, and he already knows "sit."

He appears house-trained, keeps his kennel fairly clean, and has low to medium energy overall. He enjoys getting out and about, though he can pull some on leash and gets a little distracted. Toys aren't a huge priority for him, but he may engage a bit before moving on. What really stands out is how much he wants to be near people.

Buford can get a little pushy when he wants attention and may have a hard time settling in busy environments, so he'd do best with adopters who can give him reassurance, structure, and a little help with manners. Because of his size and occasional rude behavior when excited, a home with older kids would likely be the better fit.
