-This big goofy puppy is convinced he's actually a lap dog... and honestly, no one has had the heart to tell him otherwise. The moment you sit down, he assumes your lap is reserved just for him! Personal space? Never heard of it. This boy believes the best way to show love is by climbing in close and delivering a generous amount of slobbery kisses.
-Outside he started things off with one brave little bark at absolutely nothing (just in case it needed barking at), then happily set off for his walk. He strolls nicely on leash and seems pretty proud of himself for it.
-He's a treat-motivated smart cookie who already knows how to sit patiently and takes snacks gently. He may pop up for extra treats or attention now and then, but he's clearly eager to listen and learn--he just needs a little help polishing up those puppy manners.
-Toys caught his interest, though he's still figuring out exactly what the rules are there. Toss it? Chew it? Carry it around like a prized possession? The jury's still out.
-Overall he's just a big, handsome, fun, affectionate doofus of a puppy with a happy heart, a wiggly body, and lots of love to give. With a little guidance and some basic training, this sweet goofball is going to grow into one amazing best friend.
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt
*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.
*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30
