Peony Trinket A181914
39 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old
-She started off slightly nervous and unsure, but it didn't last!
-Before long she was on my lap asking for pets and giving kisses!
-I got down on the ground and she came right over for attention and pets
-She loves to wander, explore and sniff her surroundings
-She's curious about toys and seems to want to let loose to play but didn't. She did however do some little zoomies and some play bows. I feel like she's going to be a very playful girl once she comes out of her shell completely.
-She likes treats, sits and takes them nicely
-Walks nicely with minimal pulling
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros
Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids
*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt
*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.
*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30
