BUMPER

Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Detroit, Michigan
March 15th
female, extra large, adult

DESCRIPTION

--FOSTER PUPDATE--
Bumper A181185
103 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old

--Her shelter name is Bumper, but in foster care she has been going by Kira, and that is the name she knows best.
-Kira is about 3 years old and around 100 pounds of sweetness, loyalty, and lovable big-girl charm.
-She loves being close to her people and would be thrilled to take on the role of full-time shadow.
-Kira has a great balance of energy and calm. She enjoys playtime and adventures, but she is also happy to relax by your side.
-She does well with other dogs and could be a great fit for a home with a canine companion.
-She is still an unknown with cats, so slow and careful introductions would be best.
-She is very treat motivated and takes treats gently, which is a huge plus for training.
-She is doing well with potty training and making nice progress with her routine.
-Kira is strong on leash, so she would do best with someone who can confidently handle her and continue helping her with leash manners.
-Because she is a big girl, she would likely do best in a home without small children.
-She is up to date on all her vaccinations.
-She also comes with a full year of heartworm preventative, so she is ready to start her next chapter.
-Kira is a sweet, devoted girl who is ready for a home where she can stay close to her people, keep learning, and be loved like she deserves.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
