Miclo is a curious little explorer who’s ready to check out the world beyond the kennel! He was very easy to leash up and happily pranced outside, where he went potty right away. Miclo enjoyed sniffing around the yard and taking in all the sights and smells, showing off his adventurous side.
He also greeted other dogs politely through the gate and seemed interested in making new friends. When it was time to head back inside, Miclo was a bit hesitant, preferring to stay out and continue his outdoor adventure. He wasn’t especially interested in pets during this outing, but he clearly enjoys having space to explore at his own pace.
Miclo would do best with a patient adopter who can give him time to feel comfortable and help him build trust while he settles into a new home. Miclo is at risk for euthanasia due to shelter capacity. He is available for adoption, rescue, or foster. Please contact dasadopt@dallas.gov if interested in fostering or adopting today!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
