Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

Jerome is a male dog who came to us with generalized hair loss and severe ulcerated skin lesions covering much of his body. In addition, all four of his paws are significantly swollen. Despite the extent of his condition, he is currently stable, alert, and responsive. These types of dermatologic conditions can greatly impact comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life, and require ongoing monitoring, pain management, and specialized medical care beyond what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.

He will need continued evaluation and treatment to address his skin disease, prevent infection, manage pain and inflammation, and monitor the swelling in his paws.

Despite his condition, Jerome remains bright and is doing his best while receiving supportive care.

Jerome needs a safe, compassionate place where he can receive continued medical management and supportive care to maintain comfort and quality of life.
