DESCRIPTION
Hyunjin is a male dog who presented with two hairline fractures of the right tibia. He would benefit from splinting to support the injured limb and promote healing. If splinting is not possible, Hyunjin will require strict cage rest and confinement for several weeks to allow the fractures time to heal properly. Without appropriate restriction and supportive care, there is a risk of delayed healing or further injury. The level of orthopedic care and extended confinement required for Hyunjin’s recovery exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. He needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive appropriate veterinary care, splinting if recommended, and the strict rest and monitoring necessary for his recovery. Despite his injury, Hyunjin remains resilient and is doing his best while receiving supportive care. With appropriate treatment and a controlled recovery environment, he may have a good opportunity to heal and return to a comfortable, active life.
