Hillsboro is a male dog who presented with spondylosis and bilateral hip dysplasia. These conditions can be painful and may significantly affect mobility, often requiring diagnostics, close monitoring, pain management, and ongoing medical support to maintain comfort and quality of life—care that can be difficult to provide consistently in the shelter environment.
Despite his discomfort, Hillsboro remains gentle and is doing his best while receiving supportive care.
Hillsboro needs a safe, compassionate place where he can receive continued evaluation, monitoring, and appropriate medical management to promote comfort and improved mobility.
This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter. If you are interested in helping, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov
